Requirements

The German government enlisted  Deustche Telekom as part of their effort to get every household connected to a fiber network, which required fast network builds. They wanted to reuse their significant pipe network as part of the process, so needed to run numerous design scenarios to optimize the infrastructure.

Results

Deutsche Telekom used our Comsof Fiber automated planning and design software to run their design scenarios quickly and efficiently. By fully automating the fiber planning process, they have reduced the overall planning time by 75%. They were also able to auto-generate construction packets for their contractors to accelerate the build process.
