The Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) Council Europe is an industry association created in 2004 to ensure that full fiber-based connectivity is available throughout Europe. Their membership includes over 150 companies, including investors, vendors, and operators, who work together to offer expert advice to policymakers and regulators. The FTTH Council Europe supplies various activities to support this mission, including supporting and reporting on studies, creating networking platforms, distributing newsletters, and hosting the annual FTTH Conference.

The Internet Services Providers' Association (ISPA UK) is a trade association for internet service companies throughout the United Kingdom. The Society for Broadband Professionals ( SCTE®) is a Learned Society to raise the standard of broadband engineering in the telecommunications industry. Founded in 1945, the SCTE® is a non-profit organization run by an Executive Committee of elected volunteers holding three-year terms. Although the SCTE® formed in the United Kingdom, the organization has members worldwide, including in the US, Europe, and the Benelux Union.
