Cambridge, 22 March 2024 - IQGeo (AIM: IQG), a developer of geospatial software that is “Building better networks” for telecom and utility operators, today announced that it has been honored with an FTTH Innovation award from the FTTH Council Europe, the leading European trade organization for the fiber broadband industry. IQGeo’s Network Manager Telecom software was recognized with this award in the technology category of “Planning, workflow, mapping/GIS, and AI software”.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the FTTH Council Europe, the organization launched this new set of awards to recognize technology innovation and the winners were announced at the FTTH Conference in Berlin on Thursday the 21st of March. The awards support the Council's mission to accelerate fiber deployment, reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of roll-out, promote sustainable technologies, and encourage greater take up of cost effective fiber optic services.
The judging panel was comprised of experts from the world of FTTH, including the FTTH Council Board, Committee Chairs, and conference and workshops speakers.
