Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
As electric grid requirements grow increasingly competitive and complex, network model management has become more important than ever. We understand that there are diverse utilities who need this solution to operate their grids. They differ in the scope of their networks, the number of users, available IT resources, maturity of their processes, and budgets. To support this diversity, we have created three editions of Network Manager Electric: Insight, Professional, and Enterprise.
Flexibility and usability are hallmarks of all IQGeo products, and that will continue to be one of our primary focuses as customers can now choose the edition of Network Manager Electric that is right for their network model management needs
Yes, this is why we created three editions. If you discover that you need more functionality and new workflows to more effectively manage your network, we have a seamless path to enhance and evolve your deployment.
Yes, there are add-on capabilities, including an offline mobile app, available for purchase with every edition. For Professional and Enterprise, you may also purchase additional IQGeo Adaptive Grid applications, extended software support, and extended cloud hosting options.
Yes, you can add users at any time, independent of the Network Manager Electric edition you’ve chosen.
Yes, every edition includes standard field mobility, which offers online, browser-based field mobility. If you also require offline field mobility, you can purchase the field mobile app with any of the editions.
Field mobility is included in each edition and gives users online, browser-based field mobility. Offline field mobility is app-based for the organizations who need offline field mobility to support rural geographies or during disaster response when Internet connectivity is not available. The offline version is available for an additional cost with each edition.
